Today I went to an Italian restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia called Figo. They have hand painted pepper grinders that they use to mark each table.

My family was ordering the food at the counter and behind it they have all the different grinders. Suddenly I just blurt out. “That’s a TARDIS” And the quite cute cashier says “Yeah you want it as your marker?”
“Sure! Why not? “
“We only give it to customers that recognize it. Not many people do, but it makes me happy when someone does.”
I swear this made my day because he was just smiling as he gave me the pepper grinder and I swear whovians are the best. There was also a Captain America one. I’ll get it next time.

SO if any of you guys go there point out the TARDIS one and they will love you. In the same place a few months ago I met another whovian who fangirled with me about Captain Jack and Matt Smith.
